This house dates from the late 18th Century and many of its original features such as fire places and sash windows had been lost.

The brief for the project was to renovate and upgrade the existing house by adding breathable insulation, repairing the surviving historic features such as the plaster cornices and timber joinery. In addition the clients wanted a large kitchen extension to connect directly with the large north facing garden.

The finished project is a great mix of a period home which steps down to a bright north facing contemporary extension with open plan kitchen and stunning 3m tall triple sliding doors to connect to the garden.
