Kill Abbey House dates from c.1595 however most of the surviving building fabric dates from the mid-late 17th Century. At some point in the mid 1950's it was divided into four individual apartments. My clients were the owners of a two bedroom apartment which occupies the entire top floor in the converted attic. Over the passage of time, most of the original windows at the attic level had been blocked up and poor quality dormers were added.

The clients wanted to completely re-organise the apartment and get as much natural light as possible.

The result is a bright and spacious contemporary apartment, flooded with natural light, which retains many original features such as timber sash windows and original brick fire places.
